On our very own doorstep visible from the house the river Inny has plentiful rapids for canoeing and kayaking and fishing is very popular for course and predatory fishing. Also to accompany the river Newcastle forest holds 28 kilometres of trail for walking, running, cycling and nature watching.
15 minutes away The Corlea Bog Trackway visitor centre Open from April – September shows an 18-metre stretch of preserved road from the Iron age.
